What was your career path before joining Fargo‑Sachinka?
Before joining Fargo‑Sachinka, I spent a little over a year at Le Figaro, alternating between the communications and events departments. This experience gave me insight into how a major media group operates and enabled me to meet remarkable personalities from the cultural, political and sporting worlds.
I then spent several years in politics, working within parties, a ministerial cabinet and the National Assembly. I had the opportunity to take part in several election campaigns: the 2022 presidential election, the 2021 regional elections and the 2024 legislative elections marked by a historic dissolution. I am passionate about the political world. I enjoy combining analytical assignments with technical and legislative issues while also working on communication challenges.
I also regularly publish articles in media outlets and think tanks to share my analyses and political positions.
What is your role at the agency?
I work on legal, private equity and political matters. I mainly handle media relations for law firms and their clients, who are often faced with complex issues, as well as for financial players and political figures.
I draft op‑eds, opinion pieces and speeches for institutions and elected officials who want to structure and strengthen their narrative.
I also sometimes contribute to rewriting essays, particularly to improve the tone, rhythm and narrative flow.
Finally, a large part of my day‑to‑day work involves developing institutional relations and engaging in dialogue with parliamentary actors to help shape legislative texts.
What is your view of one of your favorite markets : politics?
In the political sphere I have observed in recent years that eloquence can sometimes mask unclear intentions. I have also noticed a certain reluctance among some politicians to seek help from communications professionals. Behind apparently assured speech, is often an ego that struggles to accept an external perspective. For some, asking for advice still feels like admitting a weakness in the armour of power.
Contemporary political communication is marked by immediacy, the omnipresence of our elected officials on television & radio, and excessive use of social media. Short formats, punchlines and emotional messages dominate, at the risk of oversimplifying the message or polarising the debate. This over‑communication breeds confusion, saturation and sometimes distrust among the public. Yet it also highlights the need for rarer, clearer speech rooted in active listening.
I am convinced that elected officials need more support in their communications in general, and particularly in times of crisis. Many of them acknowledge this privately. At the agency, one of our missions is therefore to help them detect the early signs of such crises and support them to act at the right moment, thoughtfully, in a targeted and dispassionate manner— without rushing or bowing to popular or media pressure. Our aim is also to make it easier for them to carry out their mandate and refine their communication strategies through precise work founded on our experience and a clear reading of current political events.
Being supported by an agency with specialists in political communication provides an external, strategic and demanding perspective that helps bring clear, embodied and coherent speech to life. In a context saturated with messages and driven by instantaneity, structuring one’s vision from a higher perspective amplifies the impact of every speech, while remaining true to oneself and to public expectations. Quality political communication is built on consistency between words and actions and an awareness of the context. It also requires preparation, notably through training such as media coaching, which enables elected officials to master their public speaking, avoid missteps and thus preserve their credibility.
